Long term training course on raising young people’s awareness of learning in non-formal educational activities and sharing methods of non – formal education within local and European context for the competence development of young people with fewer opportunities
Themes of the long-term training course:
Non – formal education and non – formal learning;
Raising awareness on learning to learn within non – formal education;
Methods and methodology of non – formal education within youth work activities;
Youthpass as tool of recognition of non – formal learning within non – formal education local and European level;
Project management of KA1 and KA2 projects according to the proposals of Erasmus+ programme as cooperation with partner countries.
The methodology of the long term training course:
The training course will follow the “non-formal education approach”. A combination of different creative and interactive methods will be used by the trainer team and designed upon the profile of participants.
Some of the examples of methods that are going to be used in this training course:
– theoretical inputs
– individual/group activities
– group exercises
– work on examples in a small group
– case studies
– real attempt
The entire course is designed as a mutual learning situation in which, using diverse methods. Trainers will establish a theoretical framework and common reference points for learning and communication in this course, and they will also provide a framework where participants will be able to experience how to prepare, run and evaluate non-formal education methods. The course programme and contents are organised to allow for the maximum participation of the group using active and participatory methods.
