The project will consist of one Training Course
“Be Well – Mental Wellbeing in Youth Work”
It will be implemented in May 2019, 10th‐17th, in
Krzyzowa, Poland. Participants: youth workers,
educators, people actively working with youth, also
teachers, social workers, psychologists, sociologists,
motivated to explore the topic of mental wellbeing will
come from nine programme countries: Bulgaria, Greece,
Portugal, Italy, Spain, Lithuania, Macedonia, Romania,
and Poland. The project will be implemented using non‐
formal education methods, such as simulations, role
plays, group work, brainstorm, mind‐mapping, games,
icebreakers, theatre, creative presentations. All the
educational activities of this project are built on the
Kolb model of experiential learning.
The project objectives are to:
To raise self‐awareness and interpersonal competences of
participants,
To explore how is the situation of mental wellbeing among youth
in countries of participating organisations, and countries of other
organisations,
To improve the participants’ personal development through an
experiential path,
To teach participants how to recognize mental problems among
young people,
To provide methods and tools that we help people deal with
mental health issues, to provide first aid, to prevent those issues
from escalation,
To discover different approaches of non‐formal education
towards opening perspectives and supporting young people in
using them to make a local impact,
To strengthen relationships among partner organisations, to
develop new project ideas, to create new partnerships among
participants,
To explore possibilities given by Erasmus+ programme.
