The renewed EU Youth Strategy “Engaging, Connecting and Empowering young people” proposed by the European Commission for 2019 – 2027 and its challenges and good practice, addressed the following topics:
- Connecting EU with youth;
- Equality of all genders;
- Inclusive societies;
- Information and constructive dialogue;
- Mental health and wellbeing;
- Moving rural youth forward;
- Quality employment for all;
- Quality learning;
- Space and participation for all;
- Sustainable green Europe;
- Youth organisations and European programmes.
Exploring Erasmus+ programme and European Solidarity Coros as tools for implementing objectives and youth goals of the Strategy.
The main goal of this program was to gain more knowledge about working with young people in Europe and developing a future strategy for 2019-2027. Experienced staff, project managers, and trainers shared their experiences, perspectives, and practices related to the project and youth objectives.
Course “Engage, Connect, Empower!” The methodology is based on non-formal education: the participants were experts in the field of work and youth workers in projects such as Erasmus + and the European Solidarity Program. Also applied OSM (Open Space Methodology) – open space methodology for seminars conducted by participants, presentation of successful experiences, project development, etc.
Project organization partners: Prisms – Malta, Geded – Turkey, Evolution Trade Union – Latvia, Yopa – Hungary, BeatBazaar – Great Britain, HYP – Greece, Innovation Office – Lithuania, Open Society – Estonia, The Starry Start of Talents Foundation – Bulgaria.
The project took place in English, on the Zoom platform, on January 20-29, 2021, from 13:00 to 16:00. Lithuanian time.
