The main goal of Polish-Lithuanian Youth Exchange project “Ecologica” was to promote ecology, discuss the state of the natural environment and raise environmental awareness among project participants and other beneficiaries of our activities. The project was created based on close cooperation between partner groups from Lithuania and Poland and jointly implemented. We worked using non-formal education methods such as workshops, presentations, discussions, visits to interesting places, interviews. The project was also an excellent opportunity to integrate, overcome barriers and stereotypes in the relations between our countries. Thanks to the project, the participants became more environmentally conscious, open and tolerant, we gained knowledge and experience in international cooperation. The project was attended by 24 participants and leaders from Poland and Lithuania, the exchange activities were carried out on 24-30.04.2016 in Poronin.
