About authors in short:
Paulius Rimavičius. It all started when artist started making Pyrography (gr. Writing with fire or burning various ornaments on wood, leather, plastic) works as gift for friends and family members. Later, the creative arts‘ scope expanded and he made the chest, which also included burned images. All author’s works are made from red alder and oak wood.
Alex Uraz. „The Cradle of a Deer God Daughter“ „This is not a simple art, but it was created. The items you see are not souvenirs, but you can present them. They are not just dream catchers, they are totems. Please do not touch them as they are intended to stay pure. And you are welcome to copy them, as creating is the only possible way to live”. Alex Uraz is youth worker. He has been engaged into craft arts from an early age, the first work was created when he was just 15-years old. And he claims that it’s not a hobby, but rather a way of life. Alex is engaged into various activities: working with theatrical costumes, handicrafts made of wood and metal. He has implemented the project called “Recycle” and now he is testing himself in the field of the “Land art”. He organizes arts and crafts camps for children and young people in Visaginas and kindly invites everyone to visit. Of course, if he is invited to Vilnius, he will come and visit with pleasure.
