Aim of this trainign course is to to train rural youth workers, youth leaders in order to explore the personal, social, economic, geographical reasons of NEET, to understand the emotional background of rural youth being NEET. Being able to invent and propose local and European youth work methods and techniques based on the needs of NEET young people in order to solve the causes of the NEET situation and develop and improve their transversal and soft skills to become full members of the local communities. Establishing an European network among rural youth organisations in order to fight against unemployment of rural youth.
Learning objectives of the training course are:
– To define the meaning and foster understanding at being in NEET situation in rural areas; – To explore the local and global reasons and issues around being NEET in that situation; – To share the common theme, stereotypes, emotions associated with NEET in rural areas; – To identify the causes of NEET situation and develop youth work methods and techniques in order to support young people to fight against NEET situation; – To invent local and European youth projects based on the needs of young people in NEET according to Erasmus + Youth in Action programme; – Partnership building among rural youth organisations working with rural youth in NEET situation.
