Our project “Youth Culinary Club – european common cuisine ” is a youth exchange that will involve 28 participants from 4 European countries: Poland, Estonia, Lithuania and Romania. The exchange will take place in Poronin 5-12.03.2018r. We would like to learn about the history, traditions and current customs of our neighbors – the closer and the distant. During the project we will try to find common roots, we will find that despite differences – different language, different history, traditions we have a lot in common. An element that connects different nationalities is the kitchen. We are going to develop a new approach to diet, connect it with a healthy lifestyle, make the participants aware of how important nutrition education is, not just young people but also our parents and grandparents. Nutritional habits have a huge impact on our well-being and health, so it is important for us to have the knowledge gained during the project move into our daily routine, to infect our immediate surroundings with enthusiasm. We believe that promoting a healthy diet, using unprocessed foods to prepare meals will increase well-being and will help you enjoy good health. In today’s society, it is good to take care of physical condition, healthy lifestyle, in the general sense to be “eco”, so we intend to use our desire to act and to convey as good a group of people good energy and ideas. During the project we will give young people opportunities for intercultural dialogue, getting rid of stereotypes and prejudices. This is all the more important in the time of closing to other cultures.
